The screen is delicate — excessive pressure on the lid or placing heavy objects on a closed laptop causes cracks.
Check the model before buying a screen
Screens are not universal — they differ in connector, resolution, technology and mounting. An incompatible screen won't work or can damage the cable.
Don't try replacing it yourself without experience
Bezel and hinge disassembly requires care. Breaking clips or damaging the LVDS cable risks additional repair costs.
Lines does not always mean screen
Before replacing the screen, diagnose the cause. Lines can be caused by GPU damage, and screen replacement won't help.

Lines on screen — is it the screen or motherboard?▼
Lines can mean screen, LVDS cable or GPU damage on the motherboard. We connect the laptop to an external monitor — if the image is correct, the problem is in the screen or cable.
Do you repair MacBook screens?▼
Yes — we replace screens in MacBook Air and Pro. In Retina models, the screen is integrated with the cover (assembly), which affects price. We provide exact quote after inspection.
