Don't try soldering without experience
BGA soldering requires an IR station with thermal profiling and a microscope. A failed attempt can permanently damage the board and traces.
Don't flash BIOS from unknown sources
An incorrect BIOS file can permanently lock the motherboard (brick). Use only official files from the manufacturer.
Don't power on a liquid-damaged device
Moisture on the board causes short circuits. Every power-on deepens corrosion. Disconnect power and battery, bring to service.
Keep the damaged parts
If another shop replaced something on the board — bring the original parts. They can help with diagnostics.

Is it worth repairing a motherboard?▼
In most cases yes. Repair costs 300-800 PLN, while laptop motherboard replacement is 1500-5000 PLN. We repair the damaged component, not replace the entire board.
What does motherboard diagnostics look like?▼
We use a multimeter, oscilloscope, thermal imaging camera and boardview schematics. We measure voltages on key lines, look for short circuits and overheating components. Diagnostics takes 1-3 days.
Do you repair liquid-damaged boards?▼
Yes — that's one of our most common services. We clean the board ultrasonically, remove corrosion under microscope and replace damaged components. Time is critical — the sooner, the better.
Won't the problem return after BGA repair (reballing)?▼
Reballing is a temporary solution — it involves re-soldering the same chip. Replacement with a new chip is more durable. We inform about both options and their durability.
Do you repair desktop PC motherboards?▼
Yes — ATX, mATX, ITX. Damaged RAM slots, post-surge short circuits, damaged CPU VRM, BIOS flash. Diagnostics from 300 PLN (included in repair price).
